The CNC milling machine in Laserstudio is very efficient in cutting sheet materials. We can offer metal cnc milling for aluminium and brass. (Laserstuudio does not offer cutting of steel and stronger metals.) Aluminium composite plates containing metal, produced under different brands such as: Dibond, Neobond, Dilite, and others. These materials are coated on two sides with painted aluminium, the content is usually polyethylene. The materials are usually 3 mm thick. The materials of different manufacturers differ slightly in the thickness of the aluminium layer. Texts or photos can be printed on these materials. The material can be bent. It is a good idea to choose an aluminium composite according to its intended use: surface visible from one or both sides, printed or not, parts requiring bending or straight parts. If necessary, you can ask our project managers for advice. In the case of aluminium sheet materials, it is a good idea to carry out a cutting test before milling; some alloys are easier to cut, and the right alloy can be selected for cutting.
