Engraving plastic (laminate) is an elastic two-layer plastic. During the making of different signs, the outer layer of plastic is engraved to produce a contrasting and durable sign. Laminates are especially popular as they are well suited for both interior and exterior applications and available in many colors with different effects. Laminates are often used for signage such as dataplates, labels, signboards, nameplates or industrial markings.
