Plywood CNC milling

When manufacturing plywood parts, the main processing methods are CNC milling and laser cutting. Plywood CNC milling is particularly useful because it allows blind holes to be milled into the parts. It also makes it possible to machine thicker plywood as well as waterproof and moisture-resistant plywood, which cannot be cut by laser. For thinner plywood sheets, laser cutting is often the better option, as thin plywood (1–4 mm) may warp, making it difficult to secure properly to the CNC router’s vacuum table. Each project should still be assessed individually in order to choose the most suitable processing method. If needed, our project managers are happy to provide advice and assistance.

Plywood areas of use:

- furniture industry - theatre decorations - decorative elements - awards - gifts -

Plywood is widely used in the furniture industry thanks to its strength and relatively low weight. Laserstuudio has also produced theatre decorations from plywood. Plywood CNC milling is a suitable technology for manufacturing decorative interior elements, awards and corporate gifts. We have also produced architectural models from plywood.

Price of plywood CNC milling

The price of plywood CNC milling depends on the time required for the work. This includes factors such as file preparation, cutting line length, perforation, and the strength and thickness of the material. These are the factors that determine the price of CNC milling.
